Woke up to Caroline talking softly in her crib, not the alarm today. Got some coffee from Eli's (Caroline just got a few sugar packets) and sat on the front porch for awhile. The only place that doesn't cry out for demolition or restoration of some degree. We put in a good 5 hrs of work and then headed to the apple orchard, hoping it would all be done when we got home. Here's to many more cups of coffee, mornings on the porch, and hrs spent making this place ours.

love that pic of caroline with the pumpkins... the orchard we went to didn't even have any apples left. so sad.
looks like you guys had a great time. wished we could have been there with you...guess Lucy had other plans!! oh well...heres to many more opportunities to do so.

Happy birthday to Caroline tomorrow! She's so pretty! (Takes after her momma.) I won't be around a computer at all tomorrow, so I wanted to send wishes today. I hope you guys are having fun renovating! I can relate right now...we just evicted renters who trashed our rental. So we're doing some of that ourselves now! :)
